500g Boerewors
10g Crushed Garlic
2 Large White onions, thinly sliced
25g Liquid beef stock
900g Potatoes, peeled and thinly sliced
14g Fresh thyme, chopped
2g Freshly ground black pepper
5g Salt
  1. Prep and Layer
  2. Preheat oven to 180°C (fan off).
  3. Slice potatoes and onions.
  4. Brown boerewors lightly; cut into bite-sized pieces.
  5. Layer potatoes, onions, and boerewors in a dish.
  6. Season each layer with salt, pepper, garlic, and thyme.
  7. Mix and Bake
  8. Mix Versatié® and beef stock in a jug.
  9. Pour over layered ingredients.
  10. Cover with foil and bake for 1 hour.
  11. Uncover for last 10 mins to brown the top.
  12. Finish and Serve
  13. Top with extra boerewors.
  14. Garnish with fresh thyme.
