Snowman Cake and Cupcakes

1 Rich’s® 150mm (6”) Chocolate sponges Dairy or Vanilla Flavoured Bettercreme®
Melting Chocolate
Jelly Tots
Snow flake Sprinkles
White marshmallows
  1. Serrated Cake Knife
  2. Palette knife
  3. Dough Scraper
  4. Spatula
  5. Piping Bag
  6. Large Plain Round Nozzle
  7. Scissors
  8. Cake board
  9. Paper piping bags
  1. Base ice a 6 inch vanilla sponge with Dairy Flavoured Bettercreme®. Gently coat the bottom of the cake with snowflake sprinkles (or other decorative sprinkles).
  2. Fill a piping bag fitted with a large plain round nozzle with Dairy Flavoured Bettercreme®. Pipe 5 medium sized swirls of crème around the top outer-edge of the cake.
  3. Place a white marshmallow on top of each dollop of crème.
  4. Place two jelly tots on the front side of the dollops.
  5. Fill a paper piping bag with melted chocolate. Pipe the eyes, mouth and arms of the ‘snowman’ as shown here.
  6. To finish, fill a paper piping bag with orange coloured Dairy Flavoured Bettercreme® and pipe a carrot to create the nose of the snowman.
  7. Pro tip: Snowmen can be also be used on top of cupcakes.
